  1. Dear Trinity,

I was visiting my parents for Christmas 2009 and was inspired to write this poem upon hearing the sermon "The Power of Light" on December 20.

I thought I'd participate and share the poem on the blog.

    "Wound of Light"

Wound callous that has hardened my heart
Shine warm light stab ice with sharpest pick
Let static present see brand new start

Once freeze gets chipped heart finally thaws
Once light overcomes all of the darkness
Once truth blade cuts heart with 10,000 saws

Let heart bleed out fully until it’s weak
Let heart be filled with blood pure and clean
Let heart emit the light it surely seeks

    Reopen heart with continuous wound
Wound wound with eternal wound of love
Broken hearts find refuge amongst the ruin
